Here's how to install your Tari sub-meter in eight simple steps.
Step one, fill in the sub-meter application form online at tarielectra.africa.
Step two, order your meter from our head office or from an authorised dealer.
Step three, get a qualified electrical technician to do the installation.
Step four, the technician fits the Tari sub-meter after the KPLC meter, so every unit gets its own supply.
Step five, the technician enters the tamper code. Press 865 to release the tamper.
Step six, buy a token by M-PESA Paybill 4183611, using your meter number as the account, or use the Tari Electra app.
Step seven, key in the 20-digit token from your SMS or the app, then press Enter.
Step eight, enjoy transparency. You can see what you buy and what you use.
Your meter display shows your balance in kilowatt hours. Green means enough energy. Red means low, so buy a token.
Key in 801 any time to check your balance.
